Hey everyone,

Since it is the last week of the school year, my school has told us our new classes. I am in the same class I was in this year and I am happy about that. I’m happy because my teacher is great and we have new year 6’s joining the class. It feels so weird being the top year in the class. I hope I make new friends with everyone thats joining and I hope they enjoy the class. All the year 6’s are girls for some reason and there is 20 year 7’s and 9 year sixes. But 18 girls and 11 boys. I’m good friends with all the boys in the class.

Hey everyone,

It is already the end of the school term and the year has gone so quickly. I like the end of the school year because I know that my birthday is comming up the next week, Yay!!! Since it is the end of the year, the year 7’s have to go to a graduation and have to do a graduation speech. They also have to have a slide with pictures of them to put on a big presentation. then our teacher has to pick a year 6 to be a MC which means a master of the ceremony. I didn’t apply for it.

Hey everyone,

You all know the post about my class doing a dance about celebrations… Well, my class chose that theme cause we are doing and inquiry on celebrations. Were we pick 5 celebrations from 3 contienents and do a report on them. For one celebration I did Halloween in Ireland and to show this I made a glogster.

Hey everyone,

For the past couple of weeks, my class and I worked on a dance routine for the end of the school year. Our theme we chose is celebrations. We chose 4 types of celebrations to have in the dance and they are Australia Day, Weddings, Halloween and Christmas. I am in the wedding group. We came up with a cool dance routine that is different from most of the others.  I think its really cool. The song we are dancing to is celebrate good times come on!  Its really cool.

Hey everyone,

On Wednesday my class and I are hosting this weeks assembly. We are going to talk about all the things we’re doing in class. Such as exploring Port River dolphins and looking at celebrations around the world. Mostly everyone in the class has got a role to play in it. It is going to be great fun! I got the role of saying the introduction to the whole thing. I hope anyone does not say the wrong thing. The kindergarten kids are coming to the assembly too. So they sit down the front.

Hey everyone,

Today my class did an analysis on BREAD. We had to touch different types of bread, taste it and sniff it. Then we wrote what we found out on a sheet of paper. We worked in partners or groups of three. there were three types of bread: white, whole-meal and I can’t remember the other one.

Hey everyone,

The fourth term at school for this year is upon us already and now the I.B. projects are due. I am doing a family history book for my I.B. project and I still need to do some work on it. We have to do a journal with it to. In the journal you have to answer questions and record your progress. I have to complete my bibliography in my journal. So I think I’m going to complete it.
